The Clothes Maiden

27 Aug

Recently I have found a new, fantastic, fashionable magazine called The Clothes Maiden. It is full of lovely surprises, including new designers, online shops and beautiful things to buy. You can purchase the current issue or past issues on, and also on this website you can visit the stylish blog!

Louise Gray for Topshop

27 Aug

The faboulous designer has finally collaborated with Topshop and some of her clothes and make-up range are now on sale in the shop. With prices starting at a expensive £130 for the clothes, the best option is the make-up, especially when it’s crazy colours are perfect to brighten up the upcoming autumn. My favourite picks are the glittery green nail varnish for £6.50, the glitter pots for £8, the electric blue eyeliner for £8 and the pink lipstick for £10. Beautiful!

Look Like Audrey Hepburn

26 Aug

I am literally in love with Audrey Hepburn! She is my icon and inspiration! She was a very beautiful, elegant lady who starred in many famous films, including my favourite; Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Firstly, to copy her classical style, you need to pull your hair into an updo like hers. A bun will do, so buy a doughnut from Primark for a £1, but leave your fringe out on your forehead. It doesn’t matter if you haven’t got a fringe! Next get a sleeveless black dress like this one from House of Fraser for only £22. I really like the white lace collar on it, but if you find a plain one, make sure to wear a pearl necklace with it. Pair the dress with simple black heels like these from Zalando for £50 and some pearl earrings which are available anywhere. Lastly, add a pair of big, black sunglasses for £6.99 from Mango and you’re ready to go!

Peplum Style

25 Aug

What way could be easier to look fashionable than buying a cool peplum top? Seen all over the catwalk, especially at Burberry and Dior, the peplum is ideal paired with a pencil skirt or super tight skinny jeans and heels. Get yours in navy and sequins for £32 from Topshop, or in zebra print for £22 from Bank. There are many more peplum styles on the high street, but these two are my favourites!
